I have worked in the area of transfer pricing and related areas of international tax since the 1990s. I have been involved in a large number of complex transfer pricing matters as an advisor and while working in the ATO. At the ATO I held positions including the Australian competent authority for transfer pricing matters; leadership of the ATO's APA/MAP unit; and leadership of the ATO's economist practice. Between 2010 and 2018 I was also the main Australian delegate to the OECD's working party on transfer pricing matters (WP6), the period over which major BEPS Actions relating to transfer pricing were developed and finalised. I have presented on transfer pricing in a number of forums in Australia and overseas, and have published articles on transfer pricing issues in transfer pricing; tax and industry journals. I have also developed and presented transfer pricing training internationally on behalf of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.Since joining EY in 2018, I have advised clients across a number of different industry sectors with a focus on transfer pricing advisory and controversy.
