In 2003, our program received the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies Outstanding Training Program Award. In 2021, the program was accredited by the Psychological Clinical Science Accreditation System (PCSAS). We are currently ranked 37th on the U.S. News and World Reports survey of clinical psychology graduate programs. Show less

As a science, psychology knows far more about the impact of divorce than its etiology. To better understand the antecedents of marital discord, I examine the behaviors, cognitions and emotions of young couples. I am currently expanding on this research by determining if it applies to the poor and people of color.
