I am a recent graduate of Monash University, obtaining a double degree: Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science (Chemistry). I was fortunate to gain my current role as a Graduate Engineer at Beveridge Williams, as a part of the infrastructure design team. In this role I am currently responsible for drafting infrastructure for new developments and redesigns of existing infrastructure, as well as plan markups and creating functional and marketing plans prior to the detailed design process. As a part of this role, I am looking forward to learning the 12D design software and enhancing my current design skillset in an urban environment.I have been previously employed at the Berrigan Shire Council as a part of the design engineering team. In this role I was responsible for the completion of many projects to a given deadline, including all aspects such as surveying, designing, planning, contracting and project managing. I have completed many projects since starting as a design engineer trainee in 2016 such as roads, storm water, waste water, footpaths and drains. My leadership, initiative, problem solving, teamwork, planning, organisation and technology skill base has greatly increased during this role as I have worked individually and a part of a wider team to design and execute many projects which have benefitted the local community. I have also previously worked as a bartender since late high school and during university holidays. Having two jobs and university has made me appreciate and differentiate time between working and leisure lifestyle. Ultimately, I would love to gain a role in an executive engineer role, however I realise that I need to be an experienced engineer and proficiently work towards the companies values and initiatives to ensure the best outcome for myself, employers and potential stakeholders. Specialities: Design of rural infrastructure (AutoCAD Civil 3D), Surveying (unlicensed) with GPS and Total Station, Drawings (from Design), project management, communication through chain of responsibility from executives to contractors, leadership, planning, teamwork, problem solving, organisation, initiative and can pull and nice beer. Other Skills: MATLAB and JavaScript coding, excel, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, grader cards with Trimble Business Center, MapInfo mapping, Microsoft Projects and Practical Plus
