With more than 30 years working in the natural resources field, I am a naturalist with a broad background of work experience in environmental field techniques, data management, and working with the public. Field experience includes vegetation surveys, topographic surveys, plant propagation from seed, and electrofishing. Data management experience includes data collecting, processing and analysis, as well as report writing. Working with the public was a large component to my work with the Resource Conservation Districts and is also a primary focus for my position with the East Bay Regional Park District - I am passionate about improving the park user experience which includes maintaining clean, trash free parks and protecting the natural resource. In addition, I have experience managing staff and volunteers plus providing hands-on environmental education activities for school-age children.Specialties: Environmental data collection, data management, teaching, budgets, inventory, volunteer management.

Also, monitor sediment pass-through test with turbidimeter.• Survey stream cross-sections for instream flow study by taking velocity flow measurements with a Marsh-McBirney flow meter. Record cross-section substrate and photo document sites. • Purchase and maintain field equipment inventory; test and calibrate instruments following manufacturers' manuals and troubleshooting techniques; Company-wide management of field equipment including inventory, purchasing, and equipment repair.• Monitor ground water level with level logger; monitor and maintain crest gauges with ground cork.
