I manage a team of 7 employees in a high-volume, fast-paced retail location that generates $15M in annual revenue, and I am responsible for customer service quality, purchasing, operations management, and maintaining 4% variances. We have successfully stabilized turnover and reduced shrink down to only 0.7%.

Having worked in multiple locations with the largest volume store generating $120M in revenue/year, I collaborated closely with the leadership team in decreasing theft. I managed 100 employees and security operations for 5 Dignity Health campuses, 5 John C. Lincoln facilities and the 3 facilities belonging to Yuma Regional Medical Center. Duties included ownership of all physical security measures, rapid response, investigations, restraining order enforcement, etc. In addition to reducing overtime 11.5% down to 1.5% at John C. Lincoln, I also: ➙Repaired dysfunctional relationships between HSS and hospital leadership ➙Shifted resources to better meet the individual needs of the campus➙Reduced the number of psych-related incidents by 20% and added competencies to the Hospital Incident Command System / Disaster Training Module

I began working for Securitas in Allston, MA as a Security Supervisor at the Harvard Business School. I managed 6 employees and was responsible for millions of sq. ft. across 34 separate buildings. The biggest mark I made was in reducing the total number of incidences, theft and assault 10% to 20% simply by increasing my officers’ visibility. After moving to Arizona in 2011, I was promoted to Program Manager at St. Joseph’s Hospital. My 40 employees rated significantly higher on training evaluations and I dedicated significant resources to retraining the “low performers” that I inherited. Over my time serving as a Police Officer, I was a patrol officer for our 35K member community, worked as the Front Desk Officer, dispatched officers, booked offenders and served as Acting Commanding Officer. I prepared well over 4K written reports and testified in more than 1K court cases.In addition, I was also President of the Patrolman’s and Sergeant’s Association and benefited the city’s bottom line by reducing costs without impacting public safety.
