In a nutshell, I love numbers. In other words, I perform best by being in a role in which I am working hands on with data sets and problem solving to achieve efficiencies and working towards the best possible experience for both the company I am with as well as the clients we are working with. In my most recent role as a custom invoicing specialist for Merchant's Fleet, I focused on ensuring our largest clients were receiving their bills in a timely manner and that all data was presented to them in a way that worked within their portals and standards. It was my job to ensure these clients could count on Merchants to provide accurate data and to be there to personally walk them through any questions they may have or help to resolve any disputes. I was able to restructure many of our standard procedures and work closely with other teams to develop efficiencies across my department and create a better customer experience for key clients.Professionally, I’m motivated by the desire to constantly improve processes, complete tasks as accurately as possible, and to perform at my highest standard each day. These motivations have helped me achieve such accomplishments as decreasing time spent on certain accounts each month by up to 90% and cleaning up months worth of outstanding invoices for clients which allowed my company to collect on large quantities past due funds. Outside of work, I recharge by being in nature or with good company. I most recently completed a 2,198.4 mile thru-hike of the entire Appalachian Trail! What I'm looking for in a career is being able to pursue both my personal goals and professional passions with equal gusto. I truly believe that a healthy work-life balance allows people to live happier lives and perform better in every aspect of their life, both professionally and personally.
