Internship with the NPNT training program (New Paradigms New Tools), at McGill University on the ReCONstruct research project; an initiative developing turn-key retrofit solutions for a mass building climate retrofit program within Quebec to address climate change concerns. - Conducted research on building capture methods (laser scanning, photogrammetry, traditional survey techniques) to develop a streamlined, scalable building capture process suitable for retrofit projects.- Wrote an academic paper which compiled the term’s research and findings which was reviewed by CIMS (Carleton Immersive Media Studio) and ReCONstruct.- Coordinated with the Architectural Solutions team, Envelope and Mechanical Solutions team as well as the Digital Platform and BSM (Building Stock Model) teams to inform an integrated approach.

Co-op placement at MMMC Architects which concentrated on developing drawings and models in the schematic design and construction documents project phases. - Contributed to the development of construction documents for a long-term care facility in Hamilton, ON, working on plans, sections, elevations, detail drawings and schedules.- Modelled various master planning iterations for a housing complex in the BIM software ArchiCAD based on the goals of the project’s developers and city planner’s goals.

Co-op placement working with the Facilities Management team at the House of Commons that focused on developing the base geometric models of government properties in Revit for the implementation of digital twin technology.- Modelled various interior, exterior and structural assets in Revit based on existing AutoCAD plans and site visits to develop accurate 3D models of the House of Common’s facilities.- Created custom Revit objects and families to expand the House of Common’s object library.
