Eziroll Australia has been manufacturing and supplying industrial roller shutters since 1973 for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. Working as part of the Product Development team the role relies heavily on skills in mechanical design, quality assurance, equipment repair, and problem solving. Responsibilities:• The coordination of the manufacturing processes including output optimisation, plant operation, plant maintenance, work flow processes, quality assurance, and safety.• Developing scope and specification documentation, sales support, including site specific drawings, and the design and installation of engineering products.• Continual improvement in all aspects of the company’s manufacturing process.

Centurion Garage doors is one of Australia’s largest privately owned garage door companies, providing products and services to the residential building industry. While working for Centurion my work was primarily based out of the North Melbourne office. The position consisted of extensive travel within the Greater Melbourne area and South East Queensland. Responsibilities:• Installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of both mechanical and electronic automated residential garage door systems.• Constant interaction with customers, clients, builders, sub-contractors and management staff.• Organising and preforming site inspections, co-coordinating with builders, sales, and after sales technical support.• Training of service technicians and installers.

Four-month placement working with the Gold Coast University Hospital’s Thoracic Surgery Department. • Worked autonomously on a research and development project, to through the use of advanced rapid prototyping techniques design and create a digital medical prototype for determining the presence and severity of pleural air leaks in post-op patients.• Calculated product specifications, procured components, and preformed accuracy and quality assurance testing. • designed and constructed a working prototype using a combination of 3D modelling software, laser cutting, 3D printing, MEMS sensor technology, an Arduino microprocessor, and touch screen LCD graphic display.• Delivered a fully working prototype and research report to the clients working within a tight 12 week project life cycle.
