If you told me ten years ago where I’d be today, I wouldn't believe you. My goal is to always feel this way - to look back from where I stand and be motivated to push myself further. Continually improving, growing, and becoming a better version of myself, year after year. I moved from Honduras to the United States on an immigrant visa in my early 20s without a clear plan for my new life ahead. However, I quickly discovered the power of focused and consistent hard work, and the places it can take you. My experiences as a first-generation immigrant have shaped me into someone that welcomes diverse and even challenging perspectives. Additionally, those who know me describe me as pragmatic, detailed, reliable, and easygoing; qualities which have helped me reach the goals I have pursued throughout my career.Outside of work, I volunteer with the International Rescue Committee as a financial coach for recent refugees from Latin America. I share my interest in personal finance and teach them fundamentals critical for their new lives in the United States.I am open to opportunities that will test my limits, allow me to deliver value, and elevate my skill set.
