Manage and direct a team of Managerial, Office and Warehouse associates in all aspects of a high-volume operation in a delivery and pick up environment utilizing 75 – 100 Contracted Drivers in multiple facilities.• Executes customer contract requirements, identify accessorial activity and ensure necessary documentation.• Develops and maintains effective Customer relations.• Provides for associate performance reviews and development.• Ensures company policies are communicated, applied and enforced.• Operates within the agreed budget (P&L) for each location.• Coordinates the collection of performance measurements consistent with customer and company contractual requirements.• Understands process performance versus target objectives, identifies reasons for variances, communicates and implements necessary changes.• Operate facility in compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.Manage interaction of staff and Independent Contractors.• Responsible for approximately 75 daily dedicated Contractors in Greater LA, Central Coast, Central CA, Inland Empire, San Diego, Low Desert and High Deserts. Control of $7 million annual revenue. Report to NVP of the Pacific Network.• Direct up to 3 Managers, 6 supervisors, 10 dispatchers, 75 independent drivers in 8 domiciles, 30 warehouse employees and 3 support leads.Responsible for operating 75,000 sq. ft. dock space and 6 customer sites.• Manage receiving, processing and shipping of approximately 8000 packages.• Operate facility in compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.• Adhere to KPI’s and SOP’s as required by customer.• Separate and store items for customers, ad hoc and white glove services.
