As a dedicated and empathetic social worker, my mission is to be a catalyst for positive change in individuals' lives. With a deep-rooted commitment to enhancing mental health and well-being, I'm here to make a meaningful impact through advocacy, support, and empowerment.Some examples of my experience include:- As a social work intern at the Up to 3 Early Intervention program, I was given my own caseload of families. I performed Routines Based Conversations and developed Individualized Family Service Plans with each family and many other tasks.- As a Special Education Instructor at the ASSERT Preschool for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I developed lesson plans for each individual child. I implemented them to teach kindergarten preparedness skills. I also helped resolve problem behavior using evidence-based practice.- As a volunteer with the Counseling and Psychological Services at Utah State University, I taught college students stress management techniques such as visualization and belly breathing. This took place in a one-on-one clinical setting.I get excited about opportunities where I can learn new abilities and increase my knowledge.I love connecting with new people.
