As a director of Cap City Percussion, I've organized and ran logistics year-round to help the non-profit group to thrive and grow. Each year consists of an audition process, rehearsal season, competitive season against the top indoor percussion ensembles from around the country, and an off-season to prepare for the following year.Directing an indoor drum line comes with everything one would expect when running a small non-profit, including managing budgets, equipment, and schedules. I also have worked with schools, churches, county fairgrounds, and other facilities to set up deals for rehearsal space and competitions, along with working alongside vendors and sponsors to showcase the use of their products by one of the best competitive percussion ensembles in the country.

I currently work with stakeholders from both inside my team and around the rest of the company to plan, prioritize, and implement projects to help grow the ScriptHero patient network. I am currently working on specialized workflows for healthcare providers to inform patients of alternative pricing options on prescriptions.

My team maintained and modernized a suite of web applications that made up the core of CoverMyMeds' platform, with a focus on a legacy monolith written in PHP. I worked to update and expand this application, introducing new features for end users while streamlining code to make future development easier. Alongside this core application were several Rails microservices, which my team also maintained, updated, and expanded by stripping features from the monolith and building new, dedicated apps.I eventually moved to the Patient department to work on ScriptHero, a large Rails application for patients to control their prescription routing and pricing. I worked with my team to create a third-party integration for health systems to help patients save money by guiding them through a workflow that let them shop and compare discount prices between local pharmacies before routing their prescription.

My apprenticeship was focused on finishing a new login portal for healthcare providers to access the CoverMyMeds system. This functionality had been written in a legacy PHP monolithic web application, and then broken out into a newer Rails microservice which was nearing completion when I began. I finished this project with a new, more modern user interface, updated password policy rules, and better workflows for authentication through internal-facing APIs.

As an intern with CutterCroix, I expanded the functionality of a .NET job-tracking web application used by contractors to manage their day-to-day operations.I also wrote a C# command-line application to auto-populate database with old metric data for clients, in order to ease their transition into using CutterCroix systems.

As an intern with MCPc's Network Operations Center, I wrote and maintained SQL Server reports for both internal and client use. These reports were eventually used to power large digital displays showcasing service ticket metrics from the customer operations center.I also developed a web application to digitize and automate the customer on-boarding process, which had previously been completed using paper forms in a manual process.
