Where exactly did THIS come from?This vision started back in 2006. The idea was that every space deserves a creative and unique design, regardless of the budget, and every client deserves a trustworthy and friendly face to work with. The whole attitude of treat your neighbor as yourself was far more than a Sunday School lesson, in this vision. David Lyon, President and Chief Designer, started THIS in Denver after successfully growing his former company in Los Angeles, California, where his eclectic style and desire to cross boundaries brought forth recognition from all across Southern California. David knew THIS was exactly what Denver needed.Growing up in construction, David was always handy with a hammer. It was not long before his experience in the field with his father paid off. At a very young age, David started designing, project after project, always learning, eagerly adapting to new trends. He had a fun and savvy way of overcoming obstacles, transitioning spaces, implementing a variety of textures, colors and materials, and stretching limits. David does not know what it means to be inside the box. His creativity, from an early age, stems also from his musical gifts, with over 25 years on the violin and the piano.With an exceptional portfolio and hundreds of ecstatic clients that he proudly embraces, THIS has become one of the highest rated Interior Design Firms in Denver.David’s true desire is in helping those that need it, using his gifts and talents for good, trying to change the world, person by person, and project by project.
