CurrentContributing to the design and development of upcoming vehicles at John Deere, Dubuque.• Designing and implementing embedded software for John Deere’s Construction Battery Electric Vehicles, using C, & MATLAB Simulink among other tools of development within JD’s Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).• Collaborating with a team of 10 or more software developers, system engineers and project managers to deliver high quality software by following thorough software developmental life cycle (SDLC) processes.• Supporting other software engineering teams by developing reusable software, automation scripts & test tools, enhancing the development life-cycle and ensuring the reliability of John Deere’s embedded operating system & application software.• Configuring and enabling different controller I/O & features as part of bringup of new vehicle systems, including but not limited to CAN, LIN, Memory, Diagnostics, Shadow and Payload generation.• Testing the developed applications by writing unit tests using C++ or Simulink Test Tool, bench testing & machine testing.• Troubleshooting electrical issues and give feedback on harness & controller schematic & design, using oscilloscope and multimeter by leveraging experience in the electronics domain.• Utilizing git version control, Jenkins CI pipeline and NPM to package software and use for other internal projects.
