We want to ensure all students have the opportunity to learn both about and for sustainability to ensure they leave education with the skills, knowledge and attributes to make the world a better place. At SOS-UK I lead on our partnerships platform "For Good" connecting students and organisations for impactful research, projects and placements. This offers a tangible means for students to turn their education into a force for good whilst supporting organisations to improve their sustainability work. I also work on our whole-institution transformative change programme for Education for Sustainable Development, Responsible Futures, alongside a range of other ESD offerings and consultancy. We support students to learn, act and lead for sustainability.As Director of Education (maternity cover) I oversaw SOS-UKs education work, programmes and campaigns. This involved working across the student movement and with partner organisations to reform the education sector by enhancing the embedding of learning for sustainability for all students, at all levels of study, in the UK and internationally.
