The Academic Data Science Alliance (ADSA) is a community of leaders, practitioners, and educators who thoughtfully integrate data science and AI best practices in higher education. Our members connect and share their data-intensive approaches and responsible applications to help us ensure data science is built by and for everyone.

Provided program and administrative support for multiple and complex programs / projects. Performed all administrative functions for the grants program, committee coordination, pre-conference, onsite, and post-conference logistics, and the organization of weekly department meetings. Played an integral part in wrapping up the program by launching the first ever NAKFI Challenge which awarded 1.5 million to alumni of the NAKFI program to develop a project that would carry on NAKFI’s legacy of supporting interdisciplinary research into the future.

Managed an alumni association membership program, which increased from 1,500 members to approximately 5,000 during my tenure. Organized various alumni events from start to finish including promotion, onsite event coordination, budget management and post event follow-up. Established the creation of an alumni chapter program. I was directly responsible for therecruitment of new chapter members and management of events and financial activities. Participated in monthly meetings and worked directly with the CSUF Alumni Board of Directors.Managed a monthly E-newsletter for all CSUF alumni. Worked on the Jerry Goodwin Golf Tournament and Auction, which raised over $50,000 for student scholarships.
