Customer service and relations was my paramount focus. Being one of the first employees, I co-managed the facility and was responsible for training new employees in the policies and procedures at Ava's and assisted in employee coordination and scheduling. I helped create and implement a supply tracking method that decreased errors and reduced product spoilage.

I primarily worked with the IRIS (Integrated Road Information System) database analyzingbridge, levee, and culvert information. I participated in various meetings with contractors, the public, and city officials. I was fortunate enough to attend a Northwest Oregon Area Commission on Transportation meeting that discussed the ODOT Strategic Plan and amendments to the STIP selection process. In addition, I was responsible for reviewing and approving road approach, utility, and non-utility permits.
