• Analyzed win/loss strategies of 2017 state proposals regarding human and healthcare services such as new hire reporting, workforce training and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment. Creating a Powerpoint Presentation and paper to summarize my findings.• Actively participated in Federal and State pink, red, and executive team reviews. • Helped write transmittal letters for Federal and State proposals. Example - Illinois Long Term Care proposal.• Learned and understood how the Federal and State proposal process works.

• Wrote a resolution and was able to convince Skidmore's senators to approve of the Mental Health Commission in September of 2017. • Elected as the Chair of the commission and worked to improve mental health resources on campus. Focused on policy, collaboration, and events to increase mental health awareness and accessibility. Oversaw a committee of 8 people.• Examples of projects the commission focused on were: getting sun lamps for the counseling center to rent out to students, working on an event called "Beat the Stigma" and working to provide free rides off campus for mental health resources and services.

•Met multiple times a week to discuss class events, and to plan Junior Ring Weekend: a college wide event. Junior Ring Weekend consists of a dance, talent show, fundraiser, and themed dinner.•The Junior Class Council, was able to sell 2,000 tickets and raised around $1,000 for hurricane relief for Puerto Rico. As a group we coordinated multiple school wide events and budgeted for all the food, decorations, and entertainment. •This opportunity to represent my class and demonstrate leadership was one of my greatest achievements at Skidmore College. I gained experience in organizational, communication, event planning and fundraising skills.
