As the Life Savers Program Manager my role involves coordination and execution of the Life Savers Program, which impacts high school students, teachers, and community members throughout the Kansas City metro area.Program Management: I oversee the Life Savers program, ensuring it meets educational objectives. My responsibilities include scheduling presentations, managing program materials, and coordinating with schools and community organizations. Collaboration & Partnership Building: I work with leaders in the transplant community to provide students and adults with up-to-date information related to organ, eye, and tissue donation. This collaboration focuses on dispelling myths, answering questions, and encouraging conversation.Community Outreach: I actively present in high schools and at community events to promote awareness about the significance of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Volunteer & Educator Management: I help to recruit, train, and manage volunteers and paid educators, who assist in delivering presentations and support various program activities. Data & Impact reporting: I track program metrics and report on the impact of the Life Savers Program to continuously expand our reach. Key Achievement: Successfully coordinated 596 presentations during the 2023-2024 school year, reaching over 37,000 individuals.
