Researched and developed recommendations for improving inclusion and diversity

Placed within the Health and Safety Team, I completed a project to determine what factors facilitate and deter participation within the Voluntary Health Monitoring Program (VHMP). Insights from firefighters were gathered through conducting numerous focus groups which were then analysed in order to determine appropriate recommendations for the VHMP.

Completed a proposal for the development and implementation of an organisation-wide technical competency model by utilising best practices in competency development, liaising with industry experts and incorporating the strategic goals of the business.Other tasks within this project included: survey design, analysis of survey results and coordination of leadership coaching sessions.

Site Manager:• Day to day supervision of the DES (Disability Employment Services) Employment Consultants delivering of both DES-DMS and DES-ESS contracts• Provide support and advice to DES staff on case management matters, and advice on referrals to internal and external assistance with a view to maximising the contractual performance and financial profitability of the site• Conducting DES case conferences that focus on ‘best practice’ servicing• Manage a reduced case load of DES job seekers Employment Consultant:• Assessing and identifying Job Seekers (JS) vocational/non-vocational barriers and implementing strategies to resolve them• Placing JS with a disability into sustainable employment or education/skills development training• Supporting the JS in the workplace to ensure employment is sustained
