During my studies at ISU, I was a part of both the PDS Program (a year of intensive student teaching experience and coaching) and the organization Golden Apple (a scholarship honors program for gifted teaching students with passion for high-need schools). I graduated with a degree in Biology Education for grades 9-12. Since college, I have been working with a university ministry nonprofit. My role has been to gather and facilitate small and large discussion groups, create and curate curriculum for the groups to go through together, and to train students to be leaders in the group. I've also led talks and spoken at conferences and churches. Much of this happened during COVID-19, so I also became very proficient with hybrid and online modalities of working.Last year I moved to Vienna, Austria to do student work with international students. I worked with an excellent team of Austrian workers to develop cross-cultural curricula and to revitalize the student groups there in Vienna. I have mentored students, organized events both fun and professional, and managed the social media for the organization. The skills I most enjoy exercising are relational, although I also really enjoy and excel at administrative and organizational skills. I'm looking for chances to help people succeed in their efforts, and to develop the most efficient pathways to the company's goals.
