Trustee since inception which included setting up the combined vision, mission and values. Chair 2011-2013 which included management of two staff members, helping to set the direction of the trust and raising funds.
General Manager
Started up and ran all aspects of a successful charitable trust from setting policies and procedures to applying for funds for own position. Initially the key contract was with the Ministry of Tourism to work with businesses on sustainability. As well as working with over 60 businesses over the life of the project, I secured other contracts for community and sustainable building work. We also extended the sustainability message to the wider community through education, PR and events.

I worked with the associations membership on issues specific to each sector. Some issues required an industry wide response that required working with government and industry partners to work towards solutions that benefited business. I contributed towards industry conferences and events and travelled around New Zealand representing the association. Recruiting members was a part of this role and I worked closely with the membership executive.Sectors included; Adventure Tourism, Education, Research, Services, Distribution and Regional Tourism Organisations.

Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator and then the Product Manager role encompassing Marketing the Jetboat and photography aspects of the business. I even became a wedding photographer!
