I served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science responsible for supporting the Professor of Military Science in developing ROTC Cadets to assess as a Commissioned Officer into the Army of the United States. Major accomplishments include: o Coached, taught, and mentored Cadets on the tenants of leadership, developing and assessing their leadership skills in preparation to commission as an Army Officero Provided guidance in the planning, publication and execution of Physical Readiness Training, Leadership Development Exercises, and Joint Leadership Development Exerciseso Developed cadet curriculum, met all protocol requirements, and oversaw the development and execution of cadet ceremonieso Served as the liaison between the Virginia Women’s Institute for Leadership at Mary Baldwin University and the Corps of Cadets at Virginia Military Institute and started the first ever Army ROTC Women’s Mentorship Program at VMIo Supported Officer Strength Management mission by recruiting and retaining Cadets to commission into the Virginia Army National Guard, US Army Reserve and Regular Army

I managed all human resources operations for a highly selective special operations unit within the Joint Special Operations Command. Major accomplishments include:o Improved joint service support by utilizing lean six sigma training to streamline processes and implement efficient procedures within the organizationo Managed a team responsible for the casualty operations, deployment processing, promotions, awards, and evaluations for the organizationo Led and mentored a section of Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen who were ultimately selected for promotion to the next ranko Served as the subject matter expert for the organization on all joint related operations and exercises, accounting for all joint personnel and proving casualty support to members and their families

Joint Special Operations Command

I served as the Commander for the nation’s only multifunctional Joint Special Operations Reception Center responsible for the morale, health and welfare of joint personnel from every branch of service, government civilians, and contractors.Major accomplishments include:o Responsible for the training and accountability of over 1,900+ personnel annually; in and out processing 2,000+ permanently assigned personnel; management of the command’s passport and visa requirements; ID card and Common Access Card support to members of the command and their families, and manifest operations for the commando Developed an onboarding program that ensured all personnel and families had access to training and support requirements necessary in advance of worldwide deployment o Managed equipment in excess of $1 milliono Managed Staff Integration Seminar training and inprocessing for all 1,900 JSOC augmentees annually, ensuring expedient and thorough integration into the commando Sponsored a Lean Six Sigma project that evaluated the on boarding process for the entire directorate ultimately improving the operations significantly

Fort Bragg, North Carolina

I managed the combat readiness, training, health and welfare and professional development of 30 Human Resources Soldiers tasked with providing Official Mail Distribution Operations to the entire Fort Bragg, NC population. Major accomplishments include:o Oversaw the transition of civilian to military Official Mail Distribution Center operations for the first time in Fort Bragg’s historyo Maintained the readiness and accountability of equipment valued at over $200,000. o Planned and executed company level events and ceremonieso Developed a comprehensive physical training and nutrition plan for all Soldiers in preparation for deployment o Hand selected to serve as a battalion primary staff officer, a position typically held by a more senior officer.
