In the role of Public Relations Manager, I am responsible for cultivating the exposure and public image of Best Lawyers. I work with the Director of Content to set goals and develop execution strategies with an aim towards growing the Best Lawyers brand. At public-facing events, both in-person and virtual, I represent and coordinate the participation of the company. I provide input on public-facing content with an eye towards compliance and brand equity, and monitor the upkeep of core brand language on company website. I maintain and enforce the Best Lawyers publicizing guidelines, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices, develop and maintain relationships with legal associations and governing bodies and police the misappropriation of the copyrighted and trademarked assets. I also manage Best Lawyers’ social media efforts, including creating and drafting original written and visual content and developing and managing social media advertising campaigns to extend the reach of our content.

I managed marketing projects for all of Goodwill’s enterprises across our 35-county region. I was responsible for the project and task management, implementation, tracking and optimizing our marketing programs for Retail and Donated Goods, our Hospitality Department and Helms College. I updated and monitored all of our social media marketing platforms and campaigns for more than 100 accounts. In 2019 I increased the followers on all of our accounts by 41% (over 47,000 followers). I updated the ads and programming of our in store radio. I worked collaboratively and cross functionally to optimize marketing programs including managing web, social, email, Yelp, Trip Advisor, mobile and public relations. I published content on our blog utilizing the Content Management System Wordpress. I also oversaw and managed all marketing volunteers and interns.

I branded our show by discussing community events and nonprofit opportunities in the local Milledgeville area both on and off campus. During my volunteer internship with The American Diabetes Association in Atlanta, I assisted with the planning and hosting of Tour de Cure and Father of the Year, two of the American Diabetes Association's main fundraising events. I helped the team by compiling logistical paperwork for the day of the events. During the events I helped set up and taking down the events, while managing volunteers. I orchestrated and built the silent auction into Maestro. I ran registration for the Father of the Year event. I also assisted with various administrative work: making phone calls, organizing files, making copies, scheduling emails using Convio and scheduling interviews.
