This special assignment role reports to the Office of the President and Texas Career Engagement. Provides strategic oversight, delivery, and operational implementation in mobilizing UT’s 10-Year Strategic Plan’s Initiative Area 2.3 “Partner with Business.” The goal is to be the top university destination for businesses for robust talent pipeline, leading-edge research, and strategic partnership opportunities. This role will support the daily operations of the initiative and partner with all cross-functional stakeholders.

Assisted in leading Texas Career Engagement's employer engagement strategies, while overseeing the moderation team for the campus-wide recruiting system, HireUTexas powered by Handshake. Created career and identity programming in collaboration with campus partners and employers. Led Hook Talent EDU, employer education series, to share recruiting best practices and connect employers to UT campus-wide talent.

Managed Texas BBA Career Services’ social media presence, website and overall communication strategy. Managed on-campus recruiting within UT's College of Communication Career Services, including: info sessions, on-campus interviews, and the fall and spring job & internship fairs.

Managed community outreach/relations (events, social media, media relations, newsletter, and in-kind donations). Recruited, trained and managed volunteers. Supervised Americorps VISTA employees and managed the Americorps VISTA grant requirements.

Oversaw all ACC clubs and organizations and ACC Pinnacle campus activities, and served as the Co-Advisor for the Student Government Association.

Planned student activities that linked students to resources and enhanced their college experience. Also, assisted the Diversity Coordinator in coordinating diversity programming (workshops, Conference).
