Managed the Congresswoman's district-based schedule using both Outlook and Google Calendar.Managed meeting requests and made recommendations regarding if and when a meeting should take place. Prepared memos in preparation for meetings, regularly briefed the Congresswoman ahead of meetings, and worked with fellow team members on meeting follow-through. Hired, trained, and managed a team of six district-based staff. Ensured each staff member completed all required training, was familiar with all available benefits, had access to workplace counseling, and was aware of how best to communicate complicated or sensitive issues to the appropriate staff members. Delivered testimony, composed and managed local advisory panels, hosted district-wide competitions, and organized community events involving local elected officials. Compiled, edited, and published weekly notes on each meeting that occurred in both the District and DC offices. Compiled and published data related to the District office's workload to include notes related to team successes.

Served as subject matter expert on the Veterans Health Administration, the largest health care system and research institution in the nation for Ranking Member Walz (MN) and Subcommittee Chairwoman Brownley (CA). Managed a small team to develop, support, and advance the priorities of Health Subcommittee Chairwoman Julia Brownley (CA). Wrote 200+ statements delivered by Committee leadership in press conferences, Committee hearings, and floor proceedings.

Served as policy advisor to frontline Congressman on a variety of issues including health care, veterans affairs, military/defense, agriculture, social security, appropriations, and law enforcement. Worked alongside federal agencies including the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services, and Defense to ensure proper implementation of policies affecting California’s 36th District. Represented the Congressman in meetings and events with constituents and stakeholders.

Provided administrative support as Executive Assistant to Ranking Member Michaud (ME) and Ranking Member Brown (FL). Managed Staff Director's active schedule; edited documents for various staff members; coordinated travel; and managed reimbursements for staff.

Supported partners by providing both administrative and paralegal services. Researched and analyzed legal issues in preparation for judicial proceedings.
