About Megan Mccrea

While I started out as an aspiring writer, I made the switch to digital media early in my career and pursued that for just over 20 years (although it is still on my bucket list to write a book one day). I had the honor of doing this with some of the best media brands across the globe as we led their organizations and customers into a connected, digital world. Despite global travels and Florida roots, my husband and I made our way to Nashville in 2013 and now call it home. It is there that we also got into real estate and vacation rentals. After purchasing and restoring a 1920s home in East Nashville, Southbound Stays was born. We now own and I manage 6 traditional vacation rentals and 1 extended stay home. We welcome business and leisure travelers, giving them the experience of connection in Music City & Leiper's Fork. In 2018, I left the corporate world to fully pursue this newfound passion. In addition to managing our own homes, I also help other owners / property managers style, setup and market their short term/ vacation rental homes through my company, The Hospitality Creator.
