As a Senior Biologist and Regulatory Specialist, I have a strong scientific and regulatory background based on more than ten years of field and permitting experience in several geographic regions in the United States. I have assisted clients in the acquisition of federal and state environmental permits including Clean Water Act Section 404, 401, and California Department of Fish and Wildlife Section 1602 agreements. I also have experience preparing technical documents in compliance with CEQA and NEPA requirements. Years of work in the Appalachian mountain religion, the forested wetlands of the southeast, and Southern California have provided me with first hand knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and many other regulatory agencies. My field experience includes numerous biological resource assessments, jurisdictional delineations, wetland functional assessments, drainage restoration projects, and focused protocol surveys for various special status species.
