The Service Year Operations Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of compliance, reporting, budgeting, and evaluation for all of the AmeriCorps programs administered by NYC Service, including NYC Civic Corps, NYC VISTA, City Service Corps and any future new programs. The Service Year Operations Manager develops, leads, and supports cross-program internal systems that allow each program to run more efficiently and effectively. -Oversees the member file process using the federal guidelines for AmeriCorps from collection, review, certification, and storage for all 230+ NYC Service AmeriCorps members which includes background checks, I-9 certification, identity and employment documentation review, and member contracts as well as all contracts and digital properties managed for compliance (i.e. Box.com, encrypted share drive)-Training all national service program staff on compliance throughout the program year and provides updates on compliance and processes to NYC Service leadership team as needed-Updates current and develops new strategy and systems for compliance, budgets, and reporting for all NYC Service AmeriCorps programs-Oversee the writing and updating of the National Service Operations Manual with all systems, processes, and operations required to manage NYC Service’s AmeriCorps programs -Manage the writing and editing of all federal and private grant reports -Lead NYC Civic Corps quarterly reimbursement reporting including creating a payment reimbursement submission guide for host sites, managing relationships with 50 host site budget point people, preparing and submitting the report and liaising with other stakeholders for review-Supervise NYC VISTA Leader (12 month position) and national service program team intern which includes providing one-on-one meetings and coaching, professional development, task delegation and review and other support

-Oversee members at 8 City Service Corps program host sites (approximately 55 members), conducting site visits and supporting members throughout their service term; ensure compliance of said members on City Service Corps procedures and processes-Manage relationships between host site supervisors and City Service Corps members-Coordinate the monthly collection and reporting of metrics from organizational partners-Write elements of funding mid-term and final reports and provide program information support on grant funding requests.-Manage on-boarding and document compliance for 150 incoming City Service Corps members-Design service days for City Service Corps members-Coordinate member committee meetings on member experience, training, and socials-Manage logistics and aspects of program development for City Service Corps training and events-Assist with the content for the NYC Service City Service Corps e-newsletter

-Lead team of 9 AmeriCorps members at first year partnership school-Manage partnership between City Year New York and Grant Avenue administration and teachers to ensure 72 students receive 15 hours of high quality ELA and Math intervention-Provide observations and coaching to AmeriCorps members through feedback and consistent bi-weekly one-on-one check ins-Track intervention time and progress monitoring data for cumulative caseload of 135 students-Partner with community based organization to implement after school program for 60 students four days per week-Secure $400 in donations from local businesses for academic events hosted at Grant Avenue

-Served over 1,700 hours of national service in a high-need, urban elementary school through targeted intervention focused on improving attendance, behavior, and course performance in math and ELA-Selected to be After School Coordinator for 60 student, four days per week program-Delivered 15 hours of math tutoring for 15 off-track 4th grade students -Collaborated with team of 11 diverse AmeriCorps members to run 5 whole-school events that engaged over 200 students and parents
