About Meg Browne

Non-Profit Treasurer and Project Financial Manager of the Triangle Fire Memorial build. Completed in October 2023, this memorial sharply boosts the number of women memorialized in a NYC public piece of art as most of the 146 victims were young women and it acts as a reflective spot for considering the plight of workers today and tomorrow. This worker memorial includes a maintenance fund managed through an agreement with NYU. In 2024, our coalition was honored by Monumental Women and received the Frances Perkins Award via the NYS Workers Comp Board.
