My philosophy professor in college made a statement that rocked me to my core. “Until you understand why someone would believe a certain worldview, you do not actually understand the worldview itself.” This statement has challenged me, haunted me, and inspired me.Whether I am teaching Latin to 4th graders, interacting with a homeowner, or processing the internal frustrations of a business processor, I feel most alive when I can understand the needs of others and can help facilitate finding a solution. This process is often messy. It involves vulnerability of both parties and trial and error as we work to understand and be understood. Afterall, isn’t that actually what we all want…deep down? To feel seen and heard and valued? It is from the place that I work to streamline operational processes, assist in projects, expand the use of technology, and provide solutions to a variety of stakeholders. I thrive on collaboration and can't wait to learn the next thing!
