About Meghan Mitchell
Hello! My name is Meghan Mitchell, and I am a second year law student at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. I have a dual-degree in Sport Industry and Public Policy from The Ohio State University, where I was a John Glenn Fellow and a National Buckeye Scholar. As an Administrative Intern at Post Game, a nonprofit organization that supports former student-athletes, I researched and reported on various topics related to life after sport, such as career development, mental health, and education. I also participated in strategic planning and data analysis for the organization, demonstrating my research and writing skills, as well as my ability to work collaboratively and creatively.I believe that sport is a microcosm of life, and that solving complex issues in sport can help improve society as a whole. I am keen on applying my knowledge and experiences to create legislation that promotes equity and inclusion for all. I am also interested in exploring the intersection of sport, social values, and culture, and how they influence each other.
