I am currently a Postdoc Research Fellow at the University of North Dakota, where my primary focus lies in investigating the biomechanical properties of the Lyme disease bacteria, Borrelia Burgdorferi, utilizing Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). In addition, I conduct research on the frictional and thermoelectrical properties of 2D materials through AFM techniques. My expertise extends to thermoelectric bulk alloys, where I am involved in device development and material characterization. Prior to my current role, I served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Notre Dame, where I specialized in visualizing live bacteria using AFM and Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM), along with exploring sub-nanopore protein sequencing. I also held a Postdoc Fellowship at the University of California - Merced, focusing on studying the nanoscale friction properties of High Entropy Alloy Thin Films and MoS2 using AFM.
