• 15 years of ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory and leadership experience on many type of glass and raw materials analysis• Quality System Investigations, audits and inspections• Characterization of defects in glasses and raw materials• Experience and strong skills with many laboratory instruments, softwares and chromatography data systems (including WD-XRF Spectrometer, UV-VISNIR Spectrophotometer, IR Spectrophotometer, ICP-OES Spectrometer, GC - Micro GC, FTIR Spectrometer, Profilometer, Karl Fischer Titration instrument, Extensometer Device, 4-point Resistivity test equipment, Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate instrument, pH and resistivity meter)• Experience in developing budgets, purchasing laboratory instruments and equipment, managing departmental costs• Development/implementation/validation of new methods for analysis of samples• Ensure accurate preparation and compilation of laboratory documentation• Ability to lead and coach other members of laboratory team• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attentive and timely in responses• Experience in working across departments or within a team to achieve business goals• Experience in managing change, managing/leading others, coaching and providing performance feedback• Regulated industry experience• Familiarity with SAP, Success Factors, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Chem Office, Chem Draw, Gaussian and strong computer skills
