Mehreen is a healthcare professional, a physician from Pakistan, and a graduate from University of Maryland as a Master of community and population health. She worked globally in Pakistan, China, USA, and Canada with marginalized populations suffering from health inequities. After working with regulatory health department in USA, Mehreen served on frontlines of COVID emergency in her hometown and worked as a liaison with other agencies, organizations, and employees to coordinate health promotional programs. As a researcher, Mehreen conducted mixed-method community-based research, presented at international research conferences, and published research papers. By getting experience from academic institutes, tertiary care hospitals, research facilities, healthcare regulatory departments, and community healthcare facilities, she have a strong perception of how interprofessional strategy can be adopted to enhance quality of care and how a resilient health system can be created to face health emergencies and develop more healthy communities.
