Eventually, I had to close it.After that, I tried different paths—jobs, civil services—until burnout hit. Then came motherhood, and I realized a 9-to-5 wasn’t for me. I needed flexibility and a way to balance work and life. So, I decided to build something of my own.A year later, I founded Isbandh, inspired by the rich culture and art of Kashmir.What started as an idea grew into a brand that has served thousands of customers worldwide, celebrating authentic Kashmiri stories through design while supporting artisans from over 20 villages across Kashmir. But it hasn’t been easy—I’ve faced challenges scaling, from costly mistakes in paid ads and PR to cash flow issues with retail partnerships.
