Collaborated with CN business units to help these companies on their projects. The goal is to become their long-term partner on international transportation and logistics service supplier. The projects cover the following industries: oil and gas, agriculture, fertilizer, forest products, coal, metals and minerals, automotive etc. Maintained good relations with government agencies, industry associations, embassies/ consulates, and commercial companies etc. Facilitated all the meetings and activities for CN senior executives when they made business trips in China.

Managed marketing and sales and supported operation team in the region. The goal was to generate new container shipments (import and export) and retain the existing customers through in house expertise, great team efforts and unique service network.

Focused on CN Worldwide freight forwarding business, and promoted CNWW’s one-stop door to door service to Chinese shippers mainly targeting CIF shipments to North America.

Promoted CN Rail unique network and service to Chinese government agencies, Chinese SOE and private companies in various industries and let them know that CN, as a best-run railroad in North America, what we do, what we can offer and how we will work with Chinese customers to improve their trade and busienss with North America.

Managed daily routine and administrative work. Assisted the China chief representative to establish and maintain good relations with ministries and business bureaus, Canadian embassy, steam ship lines and sister ports in China. Collaborated with Vancouver headquarter to implement training and marketing research projects.
