I have been a teacher of English & Literature for the last 10 years in both mainstream schools and one on one Homeschooling Settings. Most importantly am an entrepreneur in the education field under Homeschooling.I have handled learners from middle school and taken them through Year 6 Checkpoints, Year 9, O-Levels & A levels successfully. During my time in teaching, I have developed a track record of helping students achieve their learning goals and perform to high standards. I have also guided many parents/learners on curriculum choice, career guidance, transition across education systems, university entry among other concerns.My highlights entail taking learners through the pandemic amidst crises of job loss by parents and still being able to render pro bono classes, guidance and counseling as well as prepare the candidates amply for the IGCSE which bore fruits with 8 clean A* in Literature and English first language as well as across her other subjects,we thank God for the Grace during the May/June 2022 Exam Series! Still registering great results co currently at different levels.We've also incorporated the GED curriculum in our Homeschooling portal to enable learners transition into college for different reasons. When am not teaching, I love community service, nature walk , swimming, a good movie and family time! I am also an avid reader of diverse book genres and a member of a Book Club ( Ladies Empowerment Book Club here on LinkedIn).During our visits to a Cancer Wellness Center I work with,(Lady Hope Cancer Awareness Institute in Kitisuru) I have my students give very heart warming speeches to the cancer warriors beyond our expectations , it is always an experience that sees overhaul transformation in conduct back at school and in our sessions.
