Current- Responsible for establishing and maintaining post award contact with suppliers to ensure that their schedules are maintained and materials and equipment are delivered to the job site.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on the status of all orders to ensure timely deliveries to the job site relative to the RAS dates.- Expedite the exchange of drawings, technical data, and schedules between the engineer and the supplier.- Monitor and review on a regular frequency supplier’s progress on engineering, purchase of buy-out materials, and fabrication, relative to their delivery schedule and purchase order commitments. Notify project team of any delays and follow up on supplier’s plan to restore schedule.- Assist in the resolution of problems relating to engineering, material acquisition, manufacture, or testing problems with both supplier and sub-suppliers. Take a pro-active role in identifying potential areas of concern to address before issues arise.
