PRHeSS is a non-profit organisation running healthcare, education, agriculture and community support services in Sierra Leone. They urgently needed a credible website to improve the success of grant applications and a social media presence to increase awareness of their cause and improve the success of their fundraising initiatives.In the first 3 months I have completed the following activities: • Competitive analysis & market research • Research interviews to establish goals and priorities • Presentation of strategy to the board • Redesigned website • Created new website in Squarespace • Launched a minimum viable website in Oct 2021 In the first 30 days after launching the redesigned website: • Bounce rate reduced from 77% to 48% • Exit rate reduced from 52% to 31% • Donation rate more than doubled from 6 website donations in 9 months to 7 website donations in one month • Average donation amount increased by 10%Over the next 3 months I am working to complete the following activities: • User Testing - heatmaps and moderated interviews • Roll out full version of the website over next 3 months • Roll out social media strategy • Roll out #GivingTuesday fundraising campaign

Career Foundry is an online training programme for professionals transitioning their careers into UX Design. Through this programme, I have built a solid foundation in user-centred design and data-driven approaches to UX design strategy. • Project: Ask Iceland!I designed a web based application to help foreigners in Iceland gain better access to information about living in Iceland and to help them integrate into the local community. I am the sole product designer and owner. I conducted in-depth user research with 100+ foreigners living in Iceland, built a high fidelity interactive prototype, conducted 2 rounds of remote moderated user testing, multiple A/B preference tests and completed full design documentation ready for handover. • Project: LexiquestI designed a language learning app and was the sole product designer. I conducted in-person user research interviews with 6 participants, mapped out user flows and information architecture, created low fidelity wireframes and conducted in-person moderated user testing with 3 participants using a low fidelity prototype.

CCP Games is a midsize computer games developer with studios in Iceland, China and UK. Each location has significant recruitment challenges and they needed to increase the attractiveness of the company and locations to potential candidates, reduce their time to hire and strengthen their reputation through positive candidate experiences. My work there included: •Redesigned the careers website •Created mockups for developers to implement •Wrote new copy for the careers website •Project Manager for improving the candidate experience

I took a break to travel and begin a career change. During this time I taught myself social media marketing and SEO and built a website in Wordpress.
