Melanie Hammack is a Student at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (RMCAD) at Starbucks. Colleagues describe them as "I worked with Melanie while she was a student in a rebranding project and she showed tremendous creativity. Melanie is easy to interact with, friendly, a good listener and a bold designer. I have no doubt that she will be successful and easily differentiate in any design project." and "I had the pleasure of sitting through a final brand brief that Melanie was doing through her program at the Rocky Mountain School of Art and Design. I helped the department find the class a business in need of a rebrand for their semester project; this allowed me the opportunity to sit through the final client meeting to roll out the brand. It Was Amazing!! These students were still earning their first degree, and they produced better creative and design than I have seen from seasoned professionals. Admittedly, I am not a fan of colorful over the top brand designs, but Melanie was able to turn complexity into simplicity with her logo design, despite a complex color scheme. The client was a women-owned business; Melanie was able to capture their culture in a very creative and colorful way. Melanie also went beyond her comfort level to incorporate the logo across the company's multiple excel documents; Melanie stated, "It was challenging, but it was fun, I don't normally use excel, and I learned a lot by doing it". This attitude alone shows her commitment to her craft and her willingness to reach beyond her comfort zone to create engaging brand touchpoints for her clients. This young lady has a great future in the brand business, and any team would be lucky to have her."
