Prior to moving to Australia, I had a varied career with AIB Bank. Working firstly as a Business Analyst and finally as a Project Officer. I have experience on working on large scale projects to replace computer systems and also analysing new EU directives and ensuring that the bank was able to meet those requirements. Throughout that time I developed and implemented training to my colleagues.I have always had an interest in social justice and more recently have been wanting to take a more active role. There are so many individuals and families disadvantaged in the local community and I want to be able to advocate for them in an increasingly complicated environment. I completed my Diploma in Financial Counselling and primarily work in Gamblers Help supporting those impacted by gambling harm.
