As the co-president of the Columbia Chicago chapter of Her Campus, I oversee and work with a group of writers who produce articles once a week on topics that college women are interested in. These topics range anywhere in fashion, entertainment, and current events. Other duties include hosting weekly meetings, creating events for our team to bond as well as grow stronger and better as a unit and creating content for our social media pages.

As the Retail Operations Lead at Brideside’s West Loop location, I was the manager of all showroom assistants working in the West Loop. Duties included creating the schedule while closely considering other assistant’s student schedule, onboarding any new hires and training assistants with any new updates in technology of product. Other duties included keeping the organization of other offices in our location, working with third party vendors, attending weekly meetings with managerial staff, maintaining heavy communication with managers in other departments for efficiency and reviewing daily that our showrooms were visually up to par with high expectations.

As a showroom assistant at Brideside, I assisted in easing the experience for brides and bridesmaids by creating an approachable environment for them to have a memorable event in the wedding process. My administrative duties included creating appointments for clients, maintaining careful consideration of our showroom areas to keep the space comfortable, being diligent with time structure of appointments to allow for enjoyment as well as efficiency in an appointment.
