I'm currently a health insurance representative for a managed care organization. My prior experience includes a military career with the US Air Force Reserves, working in the medical administrative field, along with working for a private OB/Gyn practice for several years. With a strong compassion for others, I continue to specialize in the healthcare field, particularly with the obstetrics specialty. I joined a managed care organization, Amerihealth Caritas, and currently work as an insurance representative for the company’s maternity and newborn members. My past experiences with the medical field and maternity care has influenced the position I hold today, with the focus of delivering quality care to others. My career has assisted me with being determined, self-driven and staying focused on goals and achievements. I regularly attend training sessions that assists with accentuating customer service and quality care for our members. In 2015, I received a Dale Carnegie Certificate of Achievement for completing a Skills for Success course. I also have served as an active member of the Employee Activity Committee, which focuses on the coordination of activities and employee volunteer opportunities within the company. My role as a team player with AmeriHealth Caritas allows me to stay focused and attuned with the company goals and quality customer service. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling to different places to experience a variety of cultures. I also enjoy sharing my baking talent with others and strive to work towards owning my own baking business in the future.
