IFAW is an international not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of approximately $100 million, staff worldwide, 250-300. Developed and directed the financial activities for 10 separate legal entities and 16 branch offices working in over 45 countries. Responsibilities included: management and security for the organization’s funds worldwide; organizational financial accounting and reporting systems; policy and operating procedures; compliance with national and international tax laws and charitable organization standards; oversight of finance staff, payroll, and benefits administration.During my tenure with this dynamic international non-governmental organization I delivered eight years of unqualified audit opinions in eight countries, including the US government A133 audit. All sixteen offices became Oracle financial system operational. IFAW was awarded the Wise Giving Alliance, CBBB, seal of excellence held by only 250 US non-profits and received the Charity Navigator 4 star rating during my tenure. Creative structuring, working with local legal partners, to establish appropriate business strategies for donors in widely varying giving environments. Full responsibility for Global Treasury selection and management and served as Pension Administrator.

Responsible for restructuring of management and line staff during two Governor changes, dealt with personnel reductions in the State of Massachusetts’ collective bargaining environment.
