With more than 8 years of experience in cultural production, Melanie has collaborated on subject matters including trans-continental Indigenous Human Rights, Border Violence Investigations in the Balkans, and Ethnoecological projects in Occupied Palestinian Territories.Her main motive is to produce work enshrined with visual-auditory impact, rooted in co-cultivated storytelling, and justice for our living world.Notable professional achievements include PR Lead for Minga Indigena, who aided in establishing the world's first Loss and Damage Fund for colonial reparations in Scotland. Melanie works as an ethnoecological researcher and journalist for Union Magazine & Artists+AlliesxHebron (AAH). AAH's project Counter-Surveillance project honed technology for global ecological stewardship and exhibited across 5 European art institutions. Melanie was a guest lecturer of Decolonising Gender at the Model UN School in Assam, India, and achieved a formal recognition on the Plastic Whale Heritage Dignity Statue for Environmental Storytelling in Norway.
