Met CRLA Level 3, Master Tutor standing, at the end of Fall 2022.In Fall 2022, I was a Peer Embedded Tutor for BCOM 212, Business Communications, where I was the assigned peer writing tutor for the course throughout the semester. I supported students with writing assignments both in-class and out of class during designated office hours. I also created and facilitated a workshop on peer review, and created and presented on APA citation style and comma-use.In Spring and Summer 2023, I was a Peer Embedded Tutor for ASTR/PTYS 170, Alien Earths. I supported students with one-page essays written to a peer audience and presented about giving peer feedback and how to develop a script for a presentation.

Assisted professor in the School of Sociology with writing programs in Stata using publicly available education data. Tasks included: creating a program to merge datasets and creating a cleaning program for upcoming project.Through this position, I was able to continue developing my skills in the statistical software program, Stata, which I first learned to use in my graduate class, Statistical Decision Making, in Fall 2022.

Prepared packets for signature review by checking the title and text of each initiative to ensure it complied with statutory requirements, as well as de-stapling, separating, and taping signature sheets. Analyzed bills for how proposed legislation affects current Arizona statute and/or how bills compare to other states’ legislation.
