• Managed marketing department to a higher efficiency, reconstructing the department from a three person team to one person which allowed a reduction in operating costs while maintaining quality of work and creating new campaigns• Conducted rebranding and standardization of all Inova Blood Donor Services marketing, patient, and doctor collateral pieces to comply with Inova branding standards while streamlining ordering of materials to help reduce overall cost and waste of materials• Converted and educated employees accustomed to paper-based marketing materials into usage of electronic-based materials to fit in line with Inova’s green inititiative and improve coordination efficiency amongst the field recruitment staff• Pioneered the effort to facilitate one of the first Facebook pages for Inova; followed by a Twitter account and YouTube channel. The IBDS page is now the most engaged and followed page within Inova. Successfully expanded Facebook engagement from inception to over 2,800 followers, and the Twitter page to over 365 followers over a 3+ year period• Solely planned, designed, organized, executed, and streamlined a three night awards ceremony event with attendance of 800 people to a two night event with an attendance of approximately 1,000 people while maintaining a high quality event• Worked closely with local and national organizations such as the Washington Capitals, Washington Nationals, Washington Wizards, George Mason University, University of Maryland, and Chick-fil-A to execute marketing, promotions, and events• Created, designed and executed a first-ever High School Video Competition to increase the social media audience, and engage and educate a target demographic in blood collection• Helped to facilitate the addition of blood donation into Loudoun County Public Schools health and driver’s education curriculum• Developed, designed and executed an honor cord program for Loudoun County high school students based on blood donations
