I graduated from University of California, San Diego in June, 2017 with a B.S. in Physiology & Neuroscience and a minor in Business. I am seeking a position as a Physical Therapy Aide/Technician with the intention of preparing for PT programs.In having recently supported two loved ones through their physical therapy journeys, I've discovered a passion that surprised me, but now seems obvious. I've developed my proprioception through ballet, and I empathize, but aside from following prescribed exercises, I feel woefully inept at knowing how to help the people around me with their pain and ambulation frustration. I need to learn more. The human body does not come with a user manual, and whether someone's affliction comes from the lack of ergonomics in a modern world, injury, illness, or a combination, I am motivated to aide in their recovery.I have a background in administration, customer service, lab work, and paraeducation. I have been searching for the best way to apply my strengths, and have experience to draw from to assist patients and keep a practice moving smoothly.
