At the Social Deck, our purpose is to help organisations to engage more people in ideas and actions that make a positive difference to communities and the environment. We work across sectors to provide services in research, strategic communications, stakeholder and community engagement, digital strategy, social marketing campaigns and evaluation.I lead our social impact work - helping organisations to engage with, design with, implement and communicate outcomes with the communities they serve. I'm skilled at bringing together threads and connecting ideas, concepts and evidence across organisations and sectors. I now use my applied science background, especially the interpretation and analysis of data and theory, to understand and analyse complex problems and behaviour. To support this, I have completed an MBA, specialising in Social Impact, through the Australian Graduate School of Management at UNSW. My previous work as a Geologist included a diversity of roles and locations in Australia and in North and South America. This gave me the opportunity to develop a broad perspective on the ways that organisations can add value to their business and to the wider community in different cultural, environmental and social contexts.Outside of work I am mad about bikes, surf and travel, preferably together.
